oh snap! so last week my boy friend was like "hey come to the city with me and my friends!" so of course i was like "hellz yeah" even though i'm not a city person lol.

so i met him at school where we went to his home town and met up with his friends (they were rather awesome) and we took a train. never took a train before lol, that was fun. then we got on another train and went past giants stadium so i was like 'oh shit! football!' from there we were in ny, and took the subway. allow me to ask, HOW THE HELL DO PEOPLE TAKE THOSE THINGS EVERY FREAKIN DAY?! haha but oh well. after we jumped from subway to subway we went up stairs and were in the city and i said 'oh coolness.... i have no clue where we are!' so yeah i'd never be able to find my way in the city lol.

we were actually only a few blocks away from the MET which was where we were going. we wound up splitting up and me and the bf were checking out the asian wing and the japanese stuff, which i recommend. then before we knew it, it was 5 so the museum was closing. then our group was like 'we're hungry!' so our adventure continued!

we took the subway and were on it for a long time and we went to china town. and of course me being the jerk i am, i text my best friend who lives in the city and told her where i was and that everything was in chinese. and her response was 'wtf? what did you think they would all speak?' and i responded '.......spanish' ANYWAYS.... we passed a barber called "Mei Dick Barber Shop" so of course i took a picture of that lol and we went to this cute little raman place, so i got to eat legit ramen. i had chicken teryiaki ramen.... the bf had eel..... haha weird taste he has, oh well. then i tried fried ice cream... god, it was like an orgasm in my mouth lol. awkward sentence.

from there we continued to this ice rink where we watched people try to ice skate. we were there for like, half an hour just laughing at people. then we were checking out the shops around the area and this place had the cutest hats ever! they had frog hats, cat hats, you name it. then we headed for time square and we sat on those dodge stairs things. i dunno it glows red which is pretty badass. we also got starbucks.... i got a chocolate banana smoothie, my goodness it was rather tasty.

after a while we started heading back and in the one subway there was this guy playing the electric violin hard corely. oh and i almost missed the subway cause my met-train card thing was being an ass. everyong was on the other side and i went last and when i got it straightened out everyone was like 'run!!!!!' so i practically jumped the gate and as the dor was closing my bf threw his arm out and pulled me in last minute. i laughed at the issue. but then we just went home, the train was fun, suprisingly comfy.... kinda lol.

and thus my nyc adventure. i give you people credit for dealing with the subway on a regular basis. kudos to you
